I believe inquiry to be a powerful tool that should be exhibited in the classroom. Giving students the opportunity to further explore something they are interested in will help support a love of learning. This year I have had the opportunity to learn more about inquiry as well as experience it myself. Through one of my classes I was able to explore the question “How does setting clear classroom boundaries impact the teacher/student relationship?” I was able to explore resources that discussed teacher-student relationships as well as interview a variety of teachers. I found this experience extremely valuable and eye-opening, as there were many considerations I had not thought of. It confirmed the importance I put on teacher-student relationships and why it is important to create a positive environment in which students feel comfortable and safe. I have attached my presentation and speaker notes below, which I was able to present to my peers to share my learning.
